SPP/APR Resources at a Glance

 


The following is a list of IDC resources that states can use to support their understanding and actions related to the FFY 2020–2025 Part B SPP/APR. States can use the resources to improve communication about the FFY 2020–2025 SPP/APR requirements and encourage increased engagement among state staff and stakeholders related to SPP/APR planning and implementation.

  • FFY 2020–25 Part B SPP/APR Changes at a Glance

    This resource provides a quick overview of indicator changes in the new FFY 2020–2025 SPP/APR. For each of the 17 SPP/APR indicators, the table denotes whether there will be no changes, minor changes and/or clarifications, changes to response rates and representativeness, changes to data sources, and new components.

  • FFY 2020–25 SPP/APR Stakeholder Requirements

    This excerpt from OSEP’s Part B SPP/APR General Instructions outlines stakeholder requirements for the FFY 2020–2025 SPP/APR in a simple one-page format. States can use this excerpt to inform state staff and other SPP/APR planning partners about stakeholder involvement that states must include in their FFY 2020–2025 Part B SPP/APR introduction.

  • For FFY 2020 SPP/APR, What Data Will States Report?

    This resource presents a graphic display of the data reporting year for each indicator for the FFY 2020 SPP/APR due on February 1, 2022. State staff can use the graphic with internal and external stakeholders and other staff involved with the SPP/APR to clarify which data they are reporting for each indicator.

  • IDC Monthly Webinar: Developing Your Stakeholder Engagement Plan for the New SPP/APR Package, February 18, 2021

    During this webinar, IDC staff provided an overview of the expanded stakeholder engagement requirements for the FFY 2020–2025 SPP/APR. Presenters shared strategies for organizing and involving stakeholders in the development and implementation of their SPPs/APRs and highlighted helpful resources to support meaningfully involving stakeholders in decisionmaking.

  • IDC Monthly Webinar: Setting Baselines and Targets in a World of Questionable Data Quality, March 25, 2021

    During this webinar, IDC staff discussed challenges with setting baselines and targets for the FFY 2020–2025 SPP/APR, given the data quality concerns stemming from COVID-19. IDC presenters shared considerations for determining baselines and strategies states may use to set targets. Presenters from two states shared their plans for setting baselines and targets and engaging their stakeholders in the process.

  • SPP/APR Tasks and Timelines

    This resource can help states implement changes required for the new FFY 2020–2025 SPP/APR. The checklist outlines tasks and activities states should consider in winter, spring, summer, and fall 2021 to ensure they complete requisite activities within required time frames and appropriately document their completion.

  • Templates for Part B SPP/APR Stakeholder Involvement and Target Setting

    Two templates comprise this resource. States can use the Organizer Template for Part B SPP/APR Target Setting to briefly document information for consideration when setting new SPP/APR targets. States can supplement this overview template with the Indicator Organizer for Part B SPP/APR Stakeholder Involvement and Target Setting, which they can use to capture more detailed information on stakeholder involvement in setting targets for individual SPP/APR indicators.
