    Significant Disproportionality Calculator and User's Guide

    The Significant Disproportionality Calculator is a spreadsheet application that the IDEA Data Center (IDC) created to help states analyze their data, make determinations of significant disproportionality, and support local education agencies (LEAs) in their analysis of data for significant disproportionality at the school-level. The accompanying user’s guide describes each worksheet within the calculator, formatting requirements, and instructions for using the calculator.

    IDC and PSC: Whom Do I Call and When?

    IDC and the Partner Support Center (PSC) are both available to help states with IDEA Part B 618 data needs. However, each center has a different primary purpose. This resource helps guide states about contacting IDC or PSC when they have Part B 618 data questions or concerns.

    SPP/APR Target Setting Toolkit

    The SPP/APR Target Setting Toolkit is a series of eight Excel workbooks designed to assist states as they set targets for their State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR). Each tool presents five different target setting methodologies that states can use to develop, discuss, and, ultimately, set measurable and rigorous targets, as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

    2020 Part B FFY 2018 SPP/APR Indicator Analysis Booklet

    The 2020 Part B FFY 2018 SPP/APR Indicator Analysis Booklet presents a national quantitative picture of the implementation of Part B of IDEA based on a review of information 60 states and agencies (i.e., the 50 states, commonwealths, territories, and the Bureau of Indian Education) reported in the FFY 2018 APRs and amended SPPs they submitted to OSEP in spring 2020. For the purposes of the report, the term “state” is used for both states and other jurisdictions. The report covers Part B Indicators 1 through 17.
