Welcome

The Data Accountability Center (DAC) is excited to introduce its Analytic Tool. This tool provides users with the most recent publicly available state-level IDEA data. The tool may be used to view data trends, generate data reports, copy data into spreadsheets, generate graphics as appropriate to the data selected, and run cross-tabulations using variables collected as part of that data set.

At the current time, there are four years of data for four data sets – two for Part B and two for Part C. The data sets include Part B Child Count, Part B Educational Environments, Part C Child Count, and Part C Settings. More data sets will be available in the future.

The Analytic Tool should be used in conjunction with the following technical assistance materials:
Data Collection History for Part B
Data Collection History for Part C
Data Dictionary for Part B
Data Dictionary for Part C
Data Notes for Part B
Data Notes for Part C

Users may also want to refer to the actual data collection forms for the reporting year that corresponds to the data set being used.

Part C Data Collection Forms

All documents and data on this site are the most current available. States may resubmit data at any time for up to 5 years past the due date. Revised/updated documents and data are posted as available or at least on an annual basis. Due to the time needed for data processing and validation procedures, it takes up to 10 months from when states submit data to posting of the data for the first time on the site. Send any questions or comments about this site to the webmaster.
